  • Yeah, the routing rules are a bummer.
    Still has a little value, though, especially if you have a need for DC, DET, or CHI travel (pushing the connection in DET--the availability is really high for the dates I checked so you can optimize your connections as you desire to give you more time).

    Yup! DCA-MDW at 9:30am, unless we go standby on the 6:30am. Return on the 6pm from MDW.

    Debating if I want 4000 miles so badly I'm gonna sit in coach....

  • damn 72.56 base fare! i've got a PD930 for 25 of 75+ that i've been trying to use & this would have been great!

    Too bad it wasn't routable thru MEM. That would've jacked the base fare up by $4 and change.

  • Fare is good on NW only from DCA (not IAD or BWI) to either MDW or ORD. Total with all taxes to MDW is $108.20 and to ORD $110.00 Same day round trip works just fine. ^

    Can someone confirm that if a platinum chooses to sit in coach they will still get the 1000 mile bonus? That could make this a 8500 mile trip and milage run worthy.

    Thanks for posting this - I actually was unhappy about not booking it - I need to go to ORD at the end of September and didn't book it right away & this actually works out very nicely since NW is my preferred carrier!
