how can I sell my ideas for cartoons especially editorial cartoons? It sounds like you should just teach yourself to draw. After some
practice (and maybe a course or two), your drawing probably won't be
worse than some of the editorial cartoonists already working! The way editorial cartoonists work probably prohibits them from
accepting ideas from outside sources. They work fast and under
deadline and don't have much time to coordinate freelance gag men.
Other cartoonists...those who do syndicated comic strips very often
use outside writers although many of them retain staff writers
nowadays. In the old days it was very common for cartoonists to accept
jokes from freelance gag writers (much like the old stand-up comics
who would buy joke for a few bucks)Hi! You may want to refer to an answer I did in the past.
