How to Enhance internet speed ?

  • i want to know that without using any additional hardware how can i enhance my internet speed.

  • You cant increase internet speed but you can increase your browsing speed and downloading speed by using Internet Download Manager.

    Best browser : Mozilla Firefox 3.0.3

    There are some tweak by which you can get increasement in your browsing speed.

    > Open Firefox and type " about :config " in your address bar.
    > Then type in " pipe " in filter bar.
    >you get four option.
    change it:

    network.http.pipelining /* default = false */ double click on this for change it to TRUE
    network.http.proxy.pipelining /* default = false */ double click on this for change it to TRUE

    Search the following integer and change it to 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.
    network.http.pipelining.maxrequests change its value to 30

    After that Right click anywhere and select
    New-> Integer.
    Name it â œnglayout.initialpaint.delayâ and set its value to â œ0â ³. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

    Right click anywhere and select
    New-> Integer or Boolean ( If change we are going to do is a Number it should be a Integer / If change true or false it's a Boolean )

    And set it's name and value as I given:
    Name it "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxâ and set its value to â œxxxxâ ³ or "false" or "true"

    * network.http.max-connections - 48 -- ( Integer )

    * network.http.max-connections-per-server - 24 -- ( Integer )

    * network.http.max-persistent-connections-... - 16 -- ( Integer )

    * network.http.max-persistent-connections-... - 8 -- ( Integer )

    * network.dns.disableIPv6 - true -- ( boolean )

    * network.http.request.timeout - 300 -- ( Integer )

    By adjusting these settings in firefox you can make your Firefox browser super faster..


  • use firefox for speedy web browsing.and watch youtube videos for tweaking firefox for maximum speeds.but the bandwidh cannot be altered.


  • Traffic density and internet service providers efficiency are the only parameters which can influence your activation speed. Provided you have a good PC/Laptop/Mobile.


  • service provider speed can not be incresible..but use firefox 2 for good browersing..
