  • hey I'm kinda new at this HTML stuff and I was wondering if you people could point me in the right direction. I was wondering how I can get text in front of a pre-sliced image that I have converted to an HTML file. I made the image in Adobe photoshop and its all set and coded I just need to know how to add the text to certain areas (boxes or slices) so that I can add the content that fits with that slice/box.ill give you a link to show you what im talking about.http://img179.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img179&image=home2jg.jpg

  • I would like to use my images as a background and have the text on top of it. I have looked in books and on the web and I cant find a thing that works. could you show mehow to do it or gimme an example please.

  • anyone...bueller?

  • ok ill look up what that means lol

  • You need to do either of two things. Slice it in such a way that you can use the boxes as a border to add text or you can use the images as a background.

  • If you are using a table layout you can send you image as a background instead of filling it with the image. You can also use CSS positioning or z index.
